Walking/talking

This is not a very good picture or even an adequate representation, but Milla is now walking (sort of) ...

She can push those stroller-things all over the place and can even take about 4-6 steps without falling. Sometimes she sits herself down and sometimes she falls (mostly the latter), but she's always happy about it. Sweet girl.

Also, I think Vaughn has proven herself the star of her class. I told the teacher we wouldn't be there on Thursday -- we are going to visit her great-grandparents -- and the teacher said, "Yes, she will. I can't imagine a day without her. I don't know what the class will do." She was being silly, of course, but how sweet to say that about our precious Vaughn. And then today Miss Ann was very impressed that Vaughn knew the number, off-hand, that comes after 29 without counting up to it. Apparently we've got a very bright child on our hands ...
